    Euromod plate ID

I'm thinking a clearer picture may be a good start as the one posted looks like a poor print of a photo which has then been scanned A quick web search of Euromod kit didn't pull up anything like it so it would appear to be an obscure item, it may be possible to use the the frame as a mounting...

PAS63100 - has anyone read it yet?

Went to an Aico skills event at the tail end of January and a presentation by the ECA I think it was, mentioned that the installation PV storage batteries in lofts was a no no but I don't recall any talk of any current or new standards in the pipeline back then

    Black Bulb/ Fuse Box

    Drilling holes in Fusebox knockouts?

A Q-Max cutter is useful for this sort of job as you only need to drill a 6 or 8mm hole for the bolt so it limits the stress on the knockout that a holesaw or step drill creates

Meter Swap over - CT Question

Shorting CT's is very basic electrical knowledge to prevent electrical runaway They must be shorted before they are disconnected from the meter or the device they are connected to otherwise they are likely to be damaged while they are O/C and not reuseable. There is also the risk of a severe...

Normal and USB sockets for home

One of the things to check with the 2 gang sockets with the 2 USB sockets is that both the usb sockets can deliver the output claimed and it isn't shared across both when 2 devices are plugged in

Pulling live meter tails from isolater switch in consumer unit

I think you need to reread the ALARP guidance as the R makes no reference to cost or time and references keeping risks As Low As Reasonably Practicable whilst costs are mentioned in the guidance this is only in connection with disproportionate and proportionate costs relative to the risk CBA for...
