Hi guys, can anyone help with this one? My customer had a problem with his two kitchen lights - 100 watt screw bulbs in a tilting downlight style fittings that kept blowing. After inspection one fitting was broken resulting in the bulb fitting being sat at an angle no doubt putting a strain on the contacts. Also the wiring was from an old pendant fitting which was stuffed up in the ceiling and wired pretty poorly so I changed the old pendant wiring using a junction box and changed the light fittings for new ones put the correct sleeving on the correct conductors and in the switches and both lights worked I turned them on and off a few times then left them on for a while before I left and all seemed fine. I also found a loose neutral in a switch in the lounge but I corrected that to. Anyway I just got a call the second kitchen light has blown again this time tripping the MCB (6A) there is an outside light, door bell, lounge light and these two kitchen lights on the circuit and thats all. (also in that order I believe) I haven't looked in the pendant fitting in the lounge yet for a loose neutral or short and I don't know if there are any other JB's anywhere but once if checked that what else could it be? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
