Advice on career path needed

Hope i can get some good advice.......i am undecided on which career path to take, after thinking long and hard on what i want to do i have my options down to 2, Building Maintenance (Electrical bias) or Factory/Industrial Maintenance (Electrical bias)

I am wanting to further my learning and within the next year i will be enrolling on either the Foundation Degree in Building Services Electrical or the HNC in Electrical Engineering. Obviously what qualification i choose will push me down one of the above career paths.

Any advice welcome!

HNC is definitely well worth doing I would say.
