If you're a qualified, trainee, or retired electrician - Which country is it that your work will be / is / was aimed at?
United Kingdom
What type of forum member are you?
Heavily Qualified Electrician / Teacher / Tutor - etc
I could two days ago?

I just tried to post a new thread and didnt save a copy....ggggrrrrrr! Said I wasn't logged in when I tried to send it live.... will this message appear....

I thought they restricted it to trainees (non arms members) and trainers, probably why Widdler can still post?

I think there were too many opinions on certain sponsors

I can see the training course forum, and read the threads - but cannot reply any more.

I cannot see the trainee-only forum at all, which I guess is understandable.

Okay Widdler I've made a report for Admin attention, if the problem isn't fixed in a day or so please send me a PM to remind me and I'll follow it up again.

The forum does auto-save partially complete posts before they're posted. If there's a saved version it will give you the option to restore that text (restore auto saved content) if you try to post in the same thread again after logging in.
When you log in it's important to tick the 'remember me' option. Dynamic ADSL IPaddresses are leased to you by your ISP. After a time your lease on that ipaddress expires and your ISP may then issue you with another different ipaddress. When this happens you also lose your forum login. Needless to say sods law states that this will be half way through writing a twelve paragraph post. If you have ticked the 'remember me' box then your login should be maintained even when your ipaddress is dynamic therefore no surprise log-outs and no lost posts.
