Groove in ceiling for LED strip

Hi all,

just wanted to pick someone’s brain on the best way to cut 2 straight lines for a groove in the ceiling for a LED strip to sit in?

Or if you aren't very good at cutting straight, then after beer.

Screw a battern to the ceiling as a guide to follow.

personally, i'd fit a low profile surface channel.
