Only reason I'm a bit a miss by all this is that all my work is done as a sub contractor and it's a 0845 number instead of Leeds number

You had this as well, I got hammered 2 weeks ago by a company doing this however claimed to be from Cleveland Police Community Department but wouldn't give me a direct number to call him back on however I have his mobile number he called off so am going to register it on every possible telesales website I can find and also call him in the middle of the night just for the crack.

Given the vast majority know zilch about electrical installation,try not to be too concerned


You should know if your work is up to standard
If it isn't,you cant complain about concerns like this cropping up
If your work is up to standard,why worry ?

If you were new to the trade my advise would be If you do a good job and take worries about it home with you,then being an electrician will not be the best decision to make


If you know your work is ok, let your mind deal with more important issues

If its ow't important they will ring back. I once had some BC in staffordshire ring me up, asking if i had done any work in that area, I hadn't, but someone was using my registration number and details and giving certs out as if Part P. Elecsa sorted it out.

lmao so funny I had spoke to a friend who is an inspector at cleveland police and they are investigating both him and the publishing company he was working on behalf - must admit I did keep him on the phone for just under 1 hour he thought he had a sale until right at the end when I told him there wasn't a community department in cleveland police it was all done through the press office he did go silent but having his number has certainly presented a number of really good opportunities
