why not try and source a LED replacement and reconfigure the fitting.

never mind mike, there's a couple of posters in the politics thread who's arses could have a tube inserted. lol. :yawn:

Just wondering why it had to be that length and voltage really, and if any of the help he has had so far is helpful for the lad.
 
I would assume it is for a fluorescent torch of some sort, which are normally easier to buy new rather than having a new tube.

H,I I didn't get email notifications for some reason!
its for inside a cheap blasting cabinet, I thought it would be easier to replace the bulb as flourescent light units don't normally come as rated for use in a blasting cabinet!
i bought a cheap led torch with a magnet and stuck it on the inside for now, I don't like led light, much prefer flourescent but I've not used it since anyway!
