Anyone ever worked as a meter installer? Seen a few jobs adverted and it looks like a good package.

Me is. Yes not bad for somebody of my years, steady, but how old are you.?It might be tedious for you if you have an long working life ahead of you, having said that knocking on a lot of doors over the year, so as you can imagine never an dull moment with members of the public.

What sort of package is being offered out of interest? Most meter installer jobs I've seen recently are all looking for dual fuel meter installers. Mainly looking for qualified gas fitters that they can bung through a few weeks electrical training.

I'm 31 so still a few years left in me yet hopefully! ?. You get training, a van, mobile phone, tablet and uniform. I'm sure some of the customers will try and chase you saying it will interfere with their magnets! ?

You'll need your brain removing first judging by the EDF meter fitters I've come across recently.
