Im thinking of setting up as a sole trader and i'm wondering who is the best to get registered with, out of niceic, napit elecssa etc?
Please help..

Depends on what you want out of them, if your a DI then as mentioned non of them, but if you do other work and want to get onto lists where your taken seriously as a commercial / industrial contractor then I would recommend the NICEIC.

well I'll give you some advice, I'm with ELECSA, I started up as a sole trader and they are very supportive , very helpful and only a phone call away.
as I expect are the others.

Have been with all 3 at some point. Never utilised elecsa or niceic but napit who i am with now are very helpfull and there members area is very good. Plus like elecsa they are only a call away for any help or advice needed.

With ELECSA for 3 years now and happy with them, good technical help line and very friendly down to earth guys.

Ive had experience with the NICEIC and NAPIT, and in my opinion, NAPIT were better value and generally more helpful/approachable.
