Hello gents. First time posting here and need some help. I have two bathroom and I want to instal one in line extractor fan to service the bath room connected to the lights and PIR sensor in a way that if you go to bathroom one only lights for that bath room comes on not the other but the extractor fan comes on as well. Extractor fan will be in line extractor fan with Y connector servicing both bath rooms. Any help would be really appreciated. Had a chat with electrician and he cant think of the way to do it.

The electrician just needs three 230v relays and a good quality adaptable box. to put them in

Thanks mate. Would it be possible for you to provide a bit more detail about the wiring. I can then show that to the electrician. So two bath rooms, two sets of lights, two pir sensors but one fan only. Thanks for your help.

No diagrams. If it's two PIR sensors then it would be simpler with four relays (one for each switch and sensor) they could then be wired and labelled very clearly. This is quite an easy job, alternatively just get an extra extractor and do away with the PIRs.

One quick question. What kind if relay is best for this. Or any kind of relay?
