Hi M8 its always best to ask before as it might have been something simple like mixing up the switch wire (happens alot)which is what I was thinking, but yes its the right time to call in someone
OK Trace the red that's in the same cable as the black with red tape and cover with caps separately and then reconnect the other 2 reds together & the 2 blacks together,see if that stops the tripping
So tell me is it still tripping with out the light connected? And if the answer is yes it's not tripping, are you sure you didn't mix up the switch wire? As that is the main reason for it tripping if you did
9 out of 10 times it's a loose connection, but are any of the lights on the same circuit not flickering? or all of them? a bit more info might help like are they LED lamps with dimmers etc
OP if you need to ask then you need to look in the yellow pages for a electrical company to install it for you, its not a diy job i am sorry to say, it shouldnt be an expensive job and your life or your family lives are worth more
I know no way of tracing pvc ducts unless there are still cables in them.
Why are you thinking there are ducts ?
As If there is one coming into the post its just the correct way of installing lamp posts to assist in removing the post when damaged without damaging the cable as it can be removed...
