Thing is its really not a big deal to do this properly.......
As long as your not signing anything or putting your name to it, let your company carry on.....
We all need to feed our children.
I for one would sack any employee of mine who didnt properly earth and bond an installation, perhaps...
See I really like the Yale....It is exactly what it looks like...no frills, VERY easy to set up.
I have one on my house and severall set up in clients property.
Just remember it is a BASIC system
I for one am not going into the floor voids of old houses.
100 years of rat excrement and God only knows what else.
Risk assesed and sorry cables supported by ground.
I never install new circuit for domestic smokes.
How many times do you see houses with batteries removed and MCB turned off????
Saw several badly burned/dead people in my other job due to this.
NEVER NEVER install domestic smokes on their own circuit!
This is one of those....how busy are you, your guaranteed the work so dont want to rob anyone.
Difficult really, I would spend time working out how long each circuit is going to take, charge your rate and then add materials.
THEN....Work on £50.00 per point, I am shocked at how close this...
Last one I did,
She said..."I dont want the elm floor boards liffting"
He said, I cannot have cables on the beams and certainly no holes in the ceilings"
I said "abra flamincadabra"
I think they got the point....
Good luck!
