Lister1987, that's a fantastic lead thank you. Could something like this work on a plug and play basis? It's output is higher - 2A, DC 29V, whereas my wall plug is rated at 700 mA DC 3-14V, but if the LED draws just 700 mA is this just an overbuilt (but safe and workable)...
