Make sure they haven't set the temperature too high. Most showers have a thermal cut out that turns off the elements when the temperature reaches 47 degrees. If the temperature is set too high the unit will cycle hot and cold. When it goes cold the obvious thing to do is turn the temperature up...
99% it will be the pull cord, probably overheated on the neutral side.
Fit new pull cord making sure the terminals are tight and in future pull cord on, shower on, shower off, pull cord off.
I have been reading through the DECC consultation document (I suffer with insomnia!) and do not understand what will still qualify for the subsidy. The exact wording is :-
“Grace periods to the closure of the Renewables Obligation to solar PV
24. We propose to offer grace periods equivalent...
Thanks for your reply.
It doesn't appear that I have to accept it but I would be quite happy to as long as I am covered as far as the solar is concerned.
If there is any doubt then I will say no and believe I have the right to do that.
I have a feeling that it will not work anyway as they have...
Hi All
I have checked previous threads which are now out of date and have not come up with a definitive answer so I hope you dont mind me starting a new thread about this.
My FIT is paid by SWALEC and my electricity is supplied by Eon. Eon now want to fit a smart meter but I am concerned that it...

Most likely cause is an overheated micro switch or a faulty differential pressure switch.
Hope that helps.
I had the same problem with my Mk1 unit, or at least my neighbours did as it didn't bother me! Manufacturers were excellent and replaced it FOC for a MK11 unit which doesn't have this problem.
Hope that helps.
Still says pre-order on their website but maybe limited stock is available?
Interesting bit for me is the "*COMING SOON* Export control to enable larger systems to be granted by DNO" Any idea how that would work as I can see cylinder stats becoming satisfied and any excess then going back to the...
It was a rush job to beat the FIT tariff drop deadline in December 2011.
Fitted on two strings the voltage was not high enough for the inverter. The inverter was not a good choice where you have shade, there are much better choices such as SMA and Power One.
The standard of roof work and...

Here is a picture of my shading.
In addition to...
