Want to install a Ring Floodlight Pro at an angle (say, at almost right angle to wall). Is there a suitable 90 degree bracket that might suit this. Weight of the flood light is about 2.5kg.
Thanks. This is what I was worried about. A new lamp might be a cheaper long term solution. Have seen Halogen bulbs on Amazon - not sure if it is worth buying these.
Newbie question. I have a 42W Philips E14 SES Halogen small Edison screw fit Dimmable Golf ball bulb. I understand one cannot buy halogen bulbs anymore.
What is the best LED replacement option please? Has to be dimmable.
Thanks a lot Gary! You were right. I managed to break one but an electrician friend was around and managed to get to the the "lock" shown in the photos above. Rest of the 10 or so replacements were easy!
Thanks again. I never ever thought that old bayonet type had this "stupid" lock mechanism...
Guys
One further question. In the conservatory, I have three wall lights which has E14 42W Golf Halogen bulbs. Can I replace these straight with LED E14 (say 6W) 4000K bright bulbs?
Could not get it to open, so cut the cable near the cord grip, unscrewed the cord grip and the socket came off. Cannot see the lock mechenism in it, so this option.
Thanks guys. I will replace all the holders in my first post with this E27 type holder. I am assuming that it will be ok to use a LED bulb up to 9 to 12W?
