2391 thursday 21st october 2010

Hi all just wanted to ask if anyone sat the 2391 on thursday 21st , if so how well do you think you did? ......personaly i thought with regards to the scenario in the B section of the exam there was very little information to go on to answer some of the questions, eg- there was no c.s.a size stated for particular circuit yet i was requierd to calculate the expected resistances ! the wording of some of the short questions was very tricky and could have been interpreted in a number of ways!! ....i know this exam is not easy but please ......it felt like some of the questions where meant to trick me into the wrong answer! lol... any feedeback would be appreciated

There was no mention on ring final circuit what CSa was I just went for 2.5 live and 2.5 cpc as it stated live and cpc were same. Same old c&g !!!!!

Yeah i did the same.
i think if you give the correct answer then it will be ok.
they always love throwing in things that have nothing to do with the answer but thats the c&g for you.

You cant fault C&G and their ridiculous exam paper layouts, confuse even the greatest of minds they would!

i did the exam aswell and we mentioned to the tutor and he advised just make sure you write down the cable csa first and work with it and it was assumed to be 2.5 and 2.5.
but on the whole i think i have faired better in this one compared to the june one - hopefully passing this time - roll on 6 weeks to find out

good luck to all the waiting is the hard part I waited 12 weeks for mine for 2391 june exam and I am still waiting for my certificate think its being hand made lol
