Hi,
I have been with Checkatrade for 6 years, and in that time it has more than doubled in price. I have now been quoted £1500.00 for me on my own. I am a sole trader who does domestic gas and electrical work.
Is that similar to other agencies?

Since i have gone nearly part time i find it s struggle to pay this.

Has anyone been with them and then moved to something as professional, or had anyone tried facebook advertising to see how that was. I think they quote a £1.00 a day?

would really love to here all your views. I live in Hampshire so checkatrade is well used her but in the last two years since Homeseve took over the number of calls has significantly dropped. and the price has doubled.

Load of ---- in my opinion. I'd bin them if I was you. (Never used them though.)

Fewer calls and doubled costs ? That's your answer right there. Get rid and invest that money in other avenues of marketing.

what about going around your local town area with a bread board around you back asking for work that might help .

Interesting cause l made enquiry yesterday and was quoted £75 (plus vat) per month, that's about 1k per yea by, ripoff IMO. What's most people paying for this ?
