Hello

As the title says, wondering what works best for everyone when pulling cables in along a decent length of cable basket where you’re not able to run the cables along the floor and lift and drop them into place?

thanks

Have seen videos of people using RC cars/trucks!

RC car would work on tray but not on basket.

Rod the length and draw rope?

I made myself a "bobble" for my rods - bit of dowel, drilled, edges rounded, bit of 4mm stud and nuts. That was for some 3 section trunking where the dividers were "a bit out of shape". The idea was that it might "ride up the step" instead of dropping to the next section down where the dividers weren't lined up.
I figured it would be easier only taking every 4th lid off - it's a standard 10x1m set. It nearly worked

For basket I've found rods will often just push along provided you keep them flat and straight where you are feeding them - but that does depend on the basket having been fitted well without steps.
Otherwise, something thicker like 20mm conduit can do the trick.

A length of PVC conduit with an empty water bottle taped to the front.

Coke bottle is usually stronger and more rounded than a water bottle

Whisky’s even stronger
