'C' Type RCBO Tripping Times

Hi All,

Can you tell me if there is any difference in the allowed tripping times for a 'C' type rcbo instead of a 'B' type??

No tripping times will be the same differance is the Maximum Zs readings will be lower

Have a look at page 49 in BRB. Not the times, but there are differences in the allowable EFLI (Zs).

Thanks all, no problem with the Zs readings, but was just a bit concerned about some of the 1 times tripping - getting some readings of upto 95mS

The 'C' characteristic applies to the thermal element of the MCB part of the RCBO only.
