Caravan RCD

I have been asked to test a touring caravan for a friend.

Question is if I hook up to the house supply how do I test the caravan RCD without tripping the house RCD?

For testing puposes you can either; (safely) install a temporary supply on a non-rcd protected MCB or (very temporarily & as a last resort) by-pass the rcd within the board
