i am quoting to install a 3.80kwp system on a old farm house, do i need to contact the DNO as it is the only house which will have it installed.

and as it is going to be installed on the house roof and connected to the domestic supply will that get the 41.3 fits

Contact the DNO on the day of connection, then you have 30 days to submit your paperwork, the will qualifie for the FITS providing you are MCS.

If your system can, in theory, send >3.68kW onto the grid then they need prior notification. ALL systems need notification of some kind.

As stated >3.68kW or >16Amps Needs prior notification under G83/1. All installations need Post notification.
