evening fellas

Im doing a job next year where the client is having 17 downlighters in total, originally he wanted LED until he saw the cost, the reason was not for energy saving purposes but for heat generated by the halogen, The construction of the building means there is no flat ceiling because it will be plasterboarded to the ridge line/pitch inside, the rafter depth is 5", can u see any reasons why i cant fit mains halogen fire rated spots in this roof space?

cheers

manufacturers instructions here. if the clearance is as much or more than they specify, you're OK to go.

cheers tel, im now wondering about the part L thing where 25-30% of lighting in a new install has to be low energy?

so bung in some of those crappy £4, 1 watt LEDs from tesco and change them once the job has been signed off.

Expecialy when you ask the the guys tacking the ceiling to leave some space in the insulation!!

Space? In the insulation?? For the lights??? :19:

Think I need to go and lie down before my sides do actually split.
