Hope someone can help. I have a Dimplex CXLSN12 (combo storage+convection) and recently had to replace the convector switch. I must have wired it wrongly as the convection heater is now on no matter whether the which is on or not! Does anyone know the correct wiring setup on the switch?

Hi Dazza and welcome to the forum, this will get put into the diy section once a member of Admin come on line, but I have approved it in the general forum for now to try and get you an answer to your question.

Difficult to tell from the picture.
Are you sure there are no cables shorting across the switch?
Are you sure the switch is working, you can do a continuity test on the disconnected switch to check.

This is the wiring diagram from the dimplex instructions if that helps.

You are a top man!
Your wiring diagram showed me connections were fine. Readjusted mauve wire as it looked like it was indeed shorting. Sorted! Thank you so much
