I’ve not seen one of these before and i have a memory of them needing to be upgraded by the DNO.

Just wondering as well what the BSEN is for it. Is it 1361 or 88-3

Looks like it could have two fuses in it, but it could have a neutral link in it. You'd need to take a look at the fuse cartridge to establish the relevant standard for that.

Thanks.

I’ll report it to the DNO and they can come and check it.

50/50 chance, the only way is for the DNO to have a look at it.

IMO it's capable of being DP fused but late enough that it is more likely to have a link in the neutral. Note the two recesses for identification discs on the front of the sealing chamber.

I’ll get the DNO to check as the consumer unit is to be replaced and I need to stick an isolator in. So they may as well check it when they pull the fuse.

The bloke that lives next door works for Western Power. But is currently on holiday or I’d have asked him to check it today. 🤪

Did you find out what it was? There is a similar cutout in a flat that my son just bought and I was a bit concerned that it could be a fused neutral.

Can you put a picture up?

This is not a great image but the best I have at the moment. Looks like the same type of cutout as in the original post to me.

What make is on it?

Thanks.
