NEW Amendments to BS7671

Hi Guys, has anyone got a scooby when the new amendments to BS7671 will be issued and any idea/guestimation on any likely changes?

Ken, The new regs are published in July, and all work will expected to comply with Amendment 1 from January. If you Google "Wiring Matters", that has a article on them.

Heard June or July for release but don't know what changes are.

The PIR's are being replaced with a Electrical Installation Condition Report, the 4 codes (1 Urgent Attention, 2 Req improvement, 3 Further Investigation, 4 Does not comply....) will be replaced by 3 codes
1 - Danger Present
2 - Potentially Dangerous
3 - Improvement Recommended
