Friend phoned earlier, his mother moved into sheltered accommodation today and needed someone to fit a cooker, called back later to say don't worry the council asked the painter to do it !!!! Think we best go check it for her !!

Last painter I saw had used the earthing point on a class 1 light for the loop in, loop out permanent feed.

whole light was live.

Yep, ...and the same council that will want to charge £250 for a fully qualified electrician that isn't part pee registered to run a couple of sockets or whatever. Perhaps a council registered painter is the answer then!!! lol!!
