    Without pointing out the obvious have you checked the mag pick up? its in the flywheel housing between the engine and the alternator, unscrew it and count how many turns you remove it clean it (normally the best thing is on a car tyre!) then re install. if you loose count wind it all the way in...

    I used regular GU10 downloghters with the fireproof sheilds on then the Phillips GU10 7watt 'warm white' lamp. I thought they were brighter then the GU10s! Phillips reckon they will pay for themselves in a year if they are used for 35 hours a week in energy saving alone!

    I was always under the impression a slot in a screw was for taking it out, Hammer for putting it in!
