    Voltage drop mate. Just seems illogical way round. I'm running 2 core 10mm to charger exterior and making a tt island at source.

    I've done the calculations and it comes out at 10mm but what Im saying would the first 10 meters be okay in 6mm. The first 10 meters works out less than a half a volt volt drop

    Okay just been speaking to some that said even in the worst case scenario on an unbalanced system the neutral current will not exceed the highest of the phase. So if it's a 30 amp circuit then the maxmima neutral current is 30amp. So many different responses and its clear I'm not the only one...

    Thanks spindon. So if you have two showers then you got 64amp flowing down the neutral but if you put the third on then it cancels it out?
