The outer sheath was completely screwed through. When I released the screw there was a small blue flash ?. I've sorted it though..
Found a second neutral and a earth sleeve of a similar fashion
I'd have to check but I think it's the feed for the sockets in the garage

Thanks for this, I've requested the SWA to be fully replaced amongst other things
I must admit I'm not instilled with confidence and picked up on the lack of sleeving on second inspection.
I didnt inspect the earthing nut but have isolated the SWA feed on the consumer unit for now.

Thanks westward. Yeah it was. I've checked the smaller consumer unit at the other end in the garage which has an earthing nut on it to the board which is fed by this SWA
