Help! What in the heck is going on here?

Yah, I know they are sensitive. It's just an easy way to show where there is current. Mostly I'm concerned about power coming out of both wires where the light is supposed to hook up and also current in the ground wire. Any suggestions as to what is going on?

Help! What in the heck is going on here?

I am trying to power an outside light (never worked). When I flip the breaker, power comes out at both the black and white wires. When I undo the wire nut and separate the black wires the power changes. I am not sure if this us a 3 way setup of not. I haven't found a switch that would complete...

Generator to breaker box 30 amp and 50 amp

I figured it out yesterday. Generator will do just over 62 amps. I'm just going to put in a 50 amp. I had already bought some stuff for a 30 and I dont think I can return them, so I'll have to eat the cost on that.

Hey everyone. I have the stuff to backfeed my generator through a 30amp breaker. I have the lockout kit that prevents both the breaker and main from being on at the same time. My question is this: My generator is strong enough to run a 50 amp and a 30 amp cord at the same time. Can I backfeed...
