    Hi DPG, these are the normal values for similar coils... GX120 - GX160 Honda engines, the secondary resistance value should be in the region of 5.9 - 7.1 kΩ. Mine 4.5kOhms GX120 - GX160 Honda engines, the primary resistance value should be in the region of 0.8 - 1.0 Ω. Mine 0.25 kOhms

    Thanks Westward These are actually British clocks, I got them in the UK. One maybe German. Not sure if that makes a difference As far as testing them goes, is using a power probe a good idea?

    Hi Megawatt - thanks for your reply. I turned the switch and nothing happened. But, this evening the same thing happened and I pressed some buttons on the aftermarket fob I have and the door ajar light went off and the car started. I think it must be some kind of immobilizer.
