I'm in the process of fitting a CU in my workshop can anyone tell me do i do testing at the new 2 way CU as i would on a domestic one or the main one in the house or both? I was thinking both

What I'm trying to work out is the lb of 5 13amp sockets, I know how to work it out in a lighting circuit say 10 lights, 10 X 100 watts / 230 = 4.34 so lb of 4.34
when working out voltage drop on a lighting circuit to work out the amp's (lb)I don't have a problem, say 10 lights @ 100 watts each 1000 watts 4.35 amps but what should I apply for a ring final and radial circuit.
Basically I've done a test from the start of the first light fitting and the reading as should be +299 at 500v and disconetced cables at start of circuit and the reading is 1.7, we have had a mice problem recently so maybe it has been nibbled. The initial reading was low between line and neutral...

i just got a megger 1552 from ebay and when select the loop function it bleeps and the <55 v flashes has anyone had the same problem or knows whats up with the machine, i've put new batteries in it.
