Old qualifications equating to modern day equivalent

Yes they are recognised. They are the modern equivalent to what's called the technical Certs. You need technical Certs , Nvq3 and sometimes AM2 to be a recognised spark in the eyes of the JIB.

JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Jib card Ecs gold

JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Jib card Ecs gold

Oh I see, Electrical quals seem so complicated. Why can't there be one set way of getting qualified. Maybe it is better now with the 2357. But it's been a shambles the last 20 years. I've lost count of the number of courses and course numbers!!

JIB Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) Jib card Ecs gold

I thought you would of had to have 236 part 2 before doing the NVQ 3. I would say you need the 236 part 2 and NVQ 3 to be graded.

The lecturers in college were confused too. Some said you needed it some said you don't. Everyone in my class had finished part1 and 2 and...

Ring end to end results not text book for cu change.. do we need to ensure 1.67 times

Re: Ring end to end results not text book for cu change.. do we need to ensure 1.67 t I think r1 and rn should only have a difference of 0.05 ohms. That is the max acceptable difference in the measured values. That's what I got in my brain anyway!
