    415v to 110v transformer

I'm ready for the abuse but I think I'm having a brain fart.... I'm fabricating a small centrifuge oil panel, all materials are here for me, it's my first foray into panel building and there isn't anyone to ask really, without getting a faceful of abuse. So they've supplied me a 415v to 110v...

    Change of job?

Thanks for all your replies guys. A little update... I ended up deciding to hand my notice in and upon doing this, I was offered my 2391-52 course and with a view of training me up as future QS.... And reassured me it will be local work for me. So retracted my notice.... Thanks again guys.

    Change of job?

Hi guys, so for the past 2 years I've been working for a firm which I thought were predominantly industrial ended up being the occasional industrial job, it's mainly been commercial maintenance tbh, and a lot of lay down time sat around. But I've gained my CompEx and had a couple of decent jobs...

Hi guys, I'm currently on a job where we are changing a ---- load of old t5 panel lights over to LED, in ceiling grids. Now all these are wired to central LCMs or the occasional Klik and the flexs are no more than 5m. I feel like I should be throwing a few metal cable ties here there and...

    Tool bag/pouch/ belt options?

Hi guys, I’m currently doing quite a bit of work on a large boiler park, up and down to the gantrys quite often. What are people using to transport tools up and down with them? I’m sick of using a rope and pulley to lift my tool bag etc up. Thanks

    1.5mm coming from a 20a isolator

Well I think it is acceptable, it can take a round 24 amps with it being on tray and clipped in places, the total load probably won’t be m0re than 10amps and I’d say at a rough estimate theres about 25m of swa, so no issue on length of run.

    1.5mm coming from a 20a isolator

What is people’s opinion on 2.5mm swa entering a rotary isolator and a 1.5mm swa leaving on a 20a mcb? Having a bit of a discussion with a colleague.
