    Have you got a site ze reading? as this could be the difference between 70mm and 95mm as I dont think you will get disconnection times for 50mm

    What manufacture is your charging point? as all the ones I have read ask for a 20amp MCB.

    As I said you need to do some reading. It’s all made very clear in the IET code of practice for electric vehicle charging equipment installation.

    What does he need to clamp it for? He has designed it correctly and no parts are in danger . No code and I don’t see how you can code it.

    20 amp should be fine supplying your 16amp socket as you say its covered in OSG part H3. Out of interest have you hit mainly drains installing your earth rods for your EV chargers ?
