    The jib told me on the phone that the qualifications I listed in my previous post with experience would grade you as a approved electrician. So I emailed them to get conformation in writing they replied but didn’t answer the question.

    Level 2 cost me £300. The way it works is if you pay the full course fees let’s say in your case £500 the government pay £1000.

    They will be running 2330 L3 in September but if you’re over 19 its going to cost you. They told us they can’t arrange funding before July 31 because their budget.

    Hi Soulman what college are you at forum what I understand this is a nationwide problem if you are over 19 you have to pay the full cost of the course which is about 4k.

    Thanks for the link. I think July is the dead line for the nvq but once you’re on it you’ve got until 2012 to finish it. Correct me if I’m wrong. Does any know can I start the 2356 with just 2330 level 2 ?

    Thanks for the replies. Went to the interview today no tests just talked about the course and work I’ve done. The outcome was I will receive a letter of acceptance and he said I will see you in September. Happy days
