Megger done a recall on the first batch of 1700 testers out. I had the same problem! Try contacting megger they will most likely upgrade the firmware for you.

Hi mate really easy!!
L N E from fcu to boiler... Then from Ls on boiler to roomstat then return from roomstat back into Lr on boiler. Roomstat will require a N.
Possible to wire a 5 core flex into boiler and run roomstat cable into the fused connection unit.
Tbh there is no harm in calculating the Zs. When testing a circuit that is rcd protected and has sensitive equiment attached. Testing on low current no trip will give you a false reading.
You guys love to put everyone down.. Must make you feel good?
And i have not done a 17 day/5 week...
Yes isolator positioned next to unit. Then from isolator in Sy bradded flex to unit. Always testing at isolator failing that then a calculated Zs test.
Well tbh Ive been wiring a few Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pumps and always take my Zs reading at the rotary isolator. The cost of the ecodan unit is £4500 and dont really want to damage the unit! Testing Zs at low current also. :)
