UK Certification software
Rrn +r2 should be included, how many times have I seen badly damaged switches on neutral. Only last night i was on a call out at 3am, fire brigade has turned power off, the smell came from between floors. Neutral loose as... cable burnt, floorboards charred . I think they were very lucky- trix

old timey bending block
I used to have one in the 70's for 20mm. Drill the 4x2 ( 6" from the top ) a straight 25mm hole. With a 20mm tube heated with a blow torch, manipulate up and down to make formed soft edges. Ideal for awkward bends and also dressing many tubes in parallel.- trix

R1+R2 of zero zilch nothing?......
This sounds like you have a parallel path with the cpc. But I'd expect a reading of at least 0.02 ohm.- trix

Unsure About An Old Earthing Arrangement
It sounds like you're still getting a parallel path via boiler cpc or the shower cpc. Or have you dissed the suspected tt. If there is no met you need to inform dno 50 year is a little young for tt- trix

It won't be if you give him a bill. I charge £25/hr for One man and £35/hr for Two. Then materials. Any less then in reality you earn less than £8/hr :eek: Always talk money first. Proven time and again, best method is quote prior to work being carried out. Written quote and copy...- trix
