Hi all,

im pricing up a job to fit 2X 6kw systems, (one per phase)

now am i better just to use 2x single phase inverters?
or 2X 2phase inverters?

need to check the loading etc to see what will benifit them best!

also, can the be ran through one 3 phase generation meter?

thanks in advance, Elliott

2 phase presumably. Makes no odds, do what's best re 2 phase vs single phase inverters, just make sure they're balanced.

I'd expect it'd be cheaper to use 2 x single phase inverters as they're more common.

sadley no 3 phase, think it will be two inverters to keep it balanced etc, thanks for the help tho,

cheers :)

2 single phase units would be best then, most modern 3ph kWh meters will work/register fine with only 2 phases being active.

Fully agree with the others use two single phase inverters and all approved three phase meters will clock the generation across just the two.

Remember the job will need DNO approval for possibly two reason 1) > 16A ; 2) out of balance (missing 3rd phase) or are they two MPAN's?
