20A radial 2 double sockets

Is a 20A 2.5mm radial sufficient for 2 sockets in a utility room? Will be a tumble dryer/washing machine plugged in and a spare socket used for a Hoover occasionally.

For the extra pennies I would throw in some 4mm and put it on a 32a mcb

Washing machine and drier should not really be plugged into a single 2G 13A socket. Either two separate 1G 13A sockets or plugged into different 2G sockets.

Sure, 2G is rated 20A with potential of 26A. The cct is already in place, just wondering my best method as customer wants to change the existing room to a utility and plug in washing machine and tumble dryer. Was thinking run a 2.5mm back to the consumer unit and make it a 32A ring. But thought it was a bit excessive for 2 double sockets?

A ring consisting of just two points will likely raise some eyebrows when it comes to future EICRs, but if a existing radial is in place, then adding a 2.5mm2 return leg is logical.

Typical ratings for washing m/c 2.2kW, tumble dryer 2.5kW, an old vacuum anything from 900W to 2kW!
You're around 20A with just the washing m/c and dryer, let alone plugging anything else in.
I don't thing the rfc idea is at all excessive in this case! Could always add another socket

If you are going to put in a return leg for the existing socket, why not put in a new radial instead, as too the Vacuum cleaner will it really be used at the same time as both the others?

The return leg can be installed in some surface trunking in the corner back to consumer unit to save chasing. A vacuum might not even be plugged in, just thinking worst case loading. Likely the other socket will remain unused.
