It covers adding section 722 for Electric vehicle charging installations, so not totally relevant to the majority of installers, but obviously critical for those involved with EV charging. Pity they brought out the guidance note before the regulations!

Ive just passed my 17th edition amendment 1 , does this mean I now have to do a new test for amendment 2 ? :/

as a iet member with access to the download * smug grin* ,
i can confirm the amendment is just 4 pages of dull vehical charging crap.

so you can all stop worrying about updating your books and quals.

as for the 18th regs , i doubt very much they'll be drawn up before 2018.

I was told the same about 17th when I did my 16th. They be skint of ideas by end of next year, they probably release 18th which will be exactly the same as the 17th but Pink with red poker dots.
