Got a row of barn conversions we're in the process of renovating ready for sale. Not your standard walls, these are 800mm thick flint, inner cellotexed stud work frame.
One of the units has a BT point spec'd with extension point on first floor.
If I remember correctly in the past BT are pretty useless at bringing their cable in if its anything tricky. So in this case probably not best to leave until its all done.
Now thinking should install a nice length of 20mm PVC tube for them with a draw wire, but the question is how do I know which side of building they will come in from.
Or get the builder to phone BT and arrange something, but wouldn't they need a works order for a new line placed by customer, if so not poss as property not even sold yet?
Help please, what's the done thing normally?
Many Thanks,
Sy
