In recent weeks, on sunny mornings, my 3.7kWp array (ESE-facing, in Cambridgeshire) has been peaking around 1.7kW output between around 10:30-11:00am.

This morning was much the same, with reasonable sunshine and an output of 1.6kW around 10:30am.
Then some very dark cloud rolls in, hailstones start to fall and the output drops to 0.1kW.

Suddenly there's a flash of lightning and the output briefly spikes to 2.5kW and then back to 0.1kW.
Then another flash and another spike.
Power output then went to 0.0kW because it was so dark, but is picking up again as the sky brightens.

If you've had the same storm pass you this morning, it might be interesting to look at your generation statistics.
