I currently have a single electric oven and gas hob both of which are connected to a 32 amp (via a red switch isolating switch) fuse. I would like to remove the gas hob and install an induction hob with a power requirement of 7.4 kw. My question is will the 32 amp fuse be sufficient?

Thanks for any help.

Yes. Probably

We would apply diversity to the 7.4kW… which means you will never use the full 7.4 at any one time, nor the full rating of the existing oven.

What is the rating of the oven, and we can work out from there.

You may also need a gas engineer to disconnect the old gas supply and cap off, plus making the hole bigger in worktop.

As above. We need the figures to be sure, but for an ordinary domestic oven, the calculated load, after diversity, is likely to be well within the capacity of the existing circuit.
I'd be more concerned as to whether the appliances on the ends of the two existing flexible cables are installed to their respective manufacturer's instructions.
