I've never fitted a solar panel in my life, but please tell me, they haven't put fixings through them panels?!?!

Hanger bolts - a crime in itself but they were the wrong size too. Never seen anything like it in my life. Slates already cracking underneath with the movement. It's a 10 year old house!

No between them but the bolts stand about 40 - 50 mm above the panel.

Not that I know of but this is the 4th dodgy job we've come across in 10 days!

I'm seriously tempted to lead that OT/S geezer on, seeing what he's done on two threads on here.
He's only 5 or 10 mins drive from me, a bit of torment to keep me warm on these drizzly Mancunian evenings.

How did you come across this?

We've done the other one, we managed to squeeze 300mm border on the bottom but it was tight because there was a vent at the top. The other guys didn't bother they just covered the vent. We used 12 LG285's in landscape where the other guys had installed 15 x 250's.

So is there micro shading on every panel? That should keep the generation in check.
