Good afternoon

Is using twisted and soldered connections and shrink-fit OK for paralleling conductors within a wall box?

I personally find this much tidier and visually satisfying than using ugly, awkward connector blocks, but is it in compliance with regulations?

Enough loose cable is left in the wall void to allow cutting the whole thing off and rewiring in any future alterations.

Opinions?

Cheers, Mark
