Wanted, calibration service in Hull Area.

Hi all and happy new year..

Anybody know of a calibration service in or around the Hull area.
My Megger 1553 needs testing.

You could try, On Site Calibration Services, they come out to you at your home or site.

A guy called Mike Olding did my Metrel PAT and MFT, cost was £110 for both.
Worked well for me, as he came to where I was working.

Try JW Instruments at Normanton nr Wakefield, he does Multifunction testers for about £35, he will do mail order but ring him for a price.

My Fluke 1652 was £30 last November, dropped it off Monday, got it back Thursday, it was ready Wednesday, but i was pushed for time to collect it.

I used a place called ever-cal but cant remember the cost, took a few days though

I Use Evercal in Hull £55 + VAT for my fluke 1652 very good service and will remind you when it needs re doing

I can recommend Mike at On Site Calibration Services as well, he`s done mine for the last 3-4 years, and he comes to your home or workplace and he`s cheap, my three testers cost £57.50 last year

Sercal in Doncaster are good, they all used to work for Robin and then Fluke and are still in the same building that was owned by Robin.
