To be able to dim LED lamps two things need to align... the dimmer must be capable of modifying the mains in a way that is compatible with the LED driver and the driver itself must be capable of being dimmed.

The driver is either built into the lamp or, as is the case of that lamp, built into the unit that mounts the light to the ceiling and based on the fact you state it's not dimming... I would say it's not capable of being dimmed.

Thanks SparkyChick. It stated on the box that it was dimmable - and had the dimmable symbol. But with a regular led dimmer, it dims a little but makes a low humming noise 😮. Then when I dim a bit lower, all bulbs go off.

A lot of LED dimmers are only rated for 10 lamps max regardless of wattage.

Zano make a range of dimmers which have no limit on the number of lamps. I have recently used them for a number of rooms which have around 40x LED golf ball lamps on a single dimmer with no problem.

Also used Zano for 25No 9W LED lamps with a retractive switch without issue.
