Guys
Has anyone ever installed metallic conduit on an chrysotile and amosite AIB ceiling with red wall plugs.
We have had an niceic contractor install metal on the AIB ceiling with red wall plugs outside our flat for a big building company.
Now for months they have argued saying it was safe...
Yes and I've been in this game for 20 plus years. Council want to bill me 5 grand for this.
Asbestos roof and just drilled holes into it and then fixed it all up with red wall plugs,
Building company couldn't see anything wrong with it.
There words were. Red wall plugs are a suitable fixing...
I'm a leasholder and my council have decided to change my perfectly good fp 200 clipped lights to the below.
Metal conduit all round my door??
What do you think??
Saddles not screwed to the roof?
Tee boxes not fixed properly
Thr boxes not fixed.
Add insult, this roof is an asbestos roof...
I have asked for the last records but they say they don't have them anywhere which is worrying as there is nothing on the board of any sort to say when it was or ever done
Ok I will ask my insurance company.
Just weird that I thought it was still years but they seem to say no.
Also my lateral electrics from the incoming head to my my meter inside the flat are the Council's and that has never been tested but is pyro tho.
Just nended to know as I've challenged...
Hi guys
I'm having major works being done on our flats by the council.
There is no periodic inspection lables on the boards in communal areas.
How many years is required between each periodic test??
Council said it an be up to ten years???
I sure it was no longer than 5.
Any advice would be...

Now I know have mixed options but can this be done or should it be run in SWA cable??

Hi
After some great feedback from another topic, I thought I'd throw this one out there, I'm new to this so this has probably been brought up before.
I'm moving to London, of course pricing will be different,
Alot of my work has been fixed price over the years but now gonna be different...
