    I think your absolute right Richard. I'll go for the lab sockets 9 times out of 10 they are going to be up anyway. I've changed the board so the circuits are RCD protected but that will just cause nuisance tripping due to water ingress. I'm going to go for the singular lab sockets.

    I'm just not sure that that's the look he's looking for. I found the trap door twin sockets that I can incorporate into the ring main on granite work benches about 4 months ago and never gave it it another thought until now and I can't find them anymore.

    Hmmm Bench trunking is deffo an idea. Ive normally installed that in labs or hospitals that ive worked in. it never crossed my mind to do it in this kitchen.
